Growing up in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, Dawn-Marie’s first knowledge of Sable Island horses came from the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park, where she visited them often, and marveled at the thought of an island full of horses! Her love of horses was ingrained at an early age when her mom worked as the bookkeeper for the local horse vet, where Dawn-Marie spent most of her summers and learned to ride!
Dawn-Marie brings 20 years accounting experience and is excited to be on the board!
