We are deliciously thrilled to announce our cookie fundraiser with Sable Shortbreads! Order by December 1, 2021 and the order will be shipped the week of December 5, 2021.
We, as the Friends of Sable Island Society, are fundraising towards our goal of ensuring that every school child learns about the natural and cultural history of Sable Island and why it is so special. We are creating inter-related lessons and teaching aids for every grade level based on Nova Scotia’s current curriculum outcomes. Starting with primary and working up to Grade 12, we will make creatively engaging lesson plans available for free on our website to be used around the world.
When we first learned about Sable Shortbreads, and tasted their amazing cookies, we knew this was going to be an unforgettable experience. We have had fun designing some creative and flavour-filled delights, and look forward to sharing them with you. The special Sable Island themed cookies are ready to order and can be shipped across Canada. Orders of $30 or more of these exclusive cookies will include a complementary annual membership in Friends of Sable Island. All orders will be fulfilled the week of December 5, 2021.
